Estates\\nServices covers the complete spectrum of Estates and Property Management from\\nthe initial concept of the need to acquire or dispose of space through to new\\nconstruction, purchase or lease of property, thereafter, the necessary\\nmaintenance and provision of a variety of services required to support the\\nacademic and student community. The estate accounts for the second highest\\nlevel of investment by the University after staff salaries. Estates Services supports the core business\\nof teaching and research and plays an important part in strategic planning.

\\nThe\\ndepartment has a number of operational sections – Asset Management, Space\\nManagement and Planning, Project Management, Fabric Services, Mechanical\\nServices, Electrical Services and Safety,\\nWorks Management, Security Services, Purchasing and the Print Unit, Catering\\nServices, Residence Services, Administration and the Centre for Sport and\\nRecreation.

\\nAs\\na member of the Fabric Services Team, you will be expected to work as part of a\\nteam undertaking general cleaning duties and to assist the Chargehand as\\nrequired. You should have previous\\ncleaning experience, a good working knowledge of cleaning equipment/machines\\nand good communication skills.\\n \\n
