An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full‑time Teaching Associate in Psychology to join the Department of Psychological Sciences and Health at the University of Strathclyde. The post is open‑ended. You will make a significant contribution to the Department through teaching, scholarship, and citizenship. The department has an internationally recognised academic group with research expertise in social psychology, cognition, health psychology, mental health, and behaviour change. It also offers popular undergraduate and postgraduate courses (BA Psychology, BSc Psychology & Counselling, MSc Clinical Health Psychology, MSc Psychology Research Methods, MSc Psychology Conversion with specialisms in Business and Health).
Responsibilities:
- Teach and support learning for the department’s undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
- Contribute to scholarship and citizenship within the department.
Qualifications:
- A PhD in Psychology or a relevant area is essential.
- Experience in social psychology, undergraduate teaching enhancement, and applied social psychology.
- Experience of teaching within a higher education context is required.
