The Operations & Client Manager plays a pivotal leadership role within Strathclyde Executive Education & Development (SEED), leading the operational management of a dynamic and complex service unit. SEED delivers a diverse portfolio of programmes across multiple levels, including the Undergraduate Graduate Apprenticeship in Business Management and the Business School's Executive Education portfolio.
Reporting to the Senior Faculty officer (Teaching & Learning), the postholder will lead and oversee all operational activities across the unit, ensuring the successful delivery of programmes to the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and customer service. The role will also provide strategic operational support to the Director of SEED, contributing to business development initiatives and supporting the continued growth and expansion of the unit.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing a medium-sized professional team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture focused on excellence in service delivery for both internal and external stakeholders. The role also ensures that operational processes, governance, compliance requirements, and service standards are effectively maintained, continuously reviewed, and enhanced in line with organisational objectives.
