Campus Support Officer - Control Room (846856)

Salary range: Β£26,093 - Β£27,319 (plus 25% shift allowance)

FTE: 1.0 (35 hours per week)

As part of the Safety, Wellbeing and Resilience directorate, you will be part of a support team that provides a customer focussed Service. Working mainly from the Security Control room you will monitor campus activity and direct resources to prevent crime, preserve order and protect life and property as well as contributing to the reduction of accidents, ensuring activities are carried out safely and securely.

Candidates should be able to undertake physically demanding duties and be able to coordinate responses quickly in emergency situations. Previous experience of security or safety roles particularly from a control room including the operation of security systems and the ability to provide first aid are important. You may also be required to carry out stewarding and safety duties at special occasions.
