Salary range:  £37,174-£45,413

Term:  Fixed term (24 months)

To support a period of increased organisational activity,\\nadditional fixed-term resource is required to support the HR team to deliver\\nthe People Strategy as part of Strategy 2030.  Applications are now invited from candidates\\nseeking an exciting and challenging role for a period of 24 months.

\\n

\\nAs Employee Relations Case Partner, you will provide professional advice\\nand guidance on a broad range of employee relations issues, ensuring compliance\\nwith University policies, procedures and relevant employment legislation.\\n \\n

\\n

\\nTo be considered for the role, you will be educated to degree level, or have\\nequivalent relevant experience, and be CIPD qualified. You will have a proven\\ntrack record of working in HR at a professional level as well as successfully\\nand independently handling an HR casework portfolio, including disciplinary and\\ngrievance investigations and hearings, as well as resolving informal issues. You\\nwill have experience of supporting restructuring activities and consulting and\\nnegotiating with trade unions. You will have an ability to successfully adopt a\\nconsultancy style and an HR business partnering approach, have a well-developed\\nknowledge of relevant HR best practice and employment legislation, an ability\\nto interpret relevant University policies, employment legislation and good\\npractice and apply it independently to complex cases. You will have excellent\\nwritten and oral communication skills, with the ability to persuade, influence\\nand articulate complex information in an accessible way, and present to a range\\nof audiences. \\n \\n

\\n

\\nReporting to the Employee Relations and Transformation Manager and working closely with the Faculty and Professional\\nServices HR colleagues, you will operate largely independently within a\\nbusy environment, dealing with diverse stakeholders on a range of HR matters.\\nTo be successful in this role, a flexible, problem-solving approach is\\nessential.\\n \\n
