\\nThe Centre for Energy\\nPolicy, part of the Department of Government and Public Policy within the\\nFaculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Strathclyde\\nworks with research, government and industry partners to understand and\\naddress the pressing public policy challenge of enabling sustainable and\\nprosperous transitions to mid-century Net Zero targets.

\\nLaunched\\nin 2015 under the leadership of the Centre Director, Professor Karen Turner,\\nCEP has an established track record of independent, rigorous and\\nmultidisciplinary research focused on understanding the wider economy\\nconsequences of taking various decarbonisation actions in different economic\\ncontexts and timeframes. The Centre was founded with the aim of generating\\nknowledge and evidence that can play an essential part in identifying\\neconomically, socially and politically feasible policy pathways to deliver the\\nNet Zero transition. As part of the School of Government and Public Policy,\\nranked first across the UK for its research quality in politics and\\ninternational studies in REF 2021 (where CEP contributed a 4* Impact Case\\nStudy), the Centre is committed to achieving real-world impacts. CEP has\\nalready helped shape UK and Scottish Government policy in areas including\\nenergy efficiency, industrial decarbonisation, heat decarbonisation and low\\ncarbon transport and has a regular regional and national media presence.\\n

We are seeking to appoint\\nan efficient and experienced part time Administrator, to support our\\nAdministration Manager in the smooth operational running of the Centre, which\\nwill include the successful candidate undertaking a mix of administration and finance\\ntasks. We would welcome applications from people with experience or an\\ninterest in providing PA support to senior staff and working with a dynamic\\nresearch and knowledge exchange team to provide support in a range of finance\\nand project administration tasks in addition to supporting the smooth running\\nof our centre and events.\\n

With this post being\\npart-time, the successful candidate will be required to work 14 hours over 3/4\\ndays (options noted below) with a degree of flexibility to accommodate\\nbusiness needs as and when required.” \\n
