The University of Stirling is seeking an Executive Director of Research, Innovation and Business Engagement to provide strategic leadership that advances our ambitious research and innovation agenda.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and University Secretary, the postholder will lead the delivery of our Research and Innovation Strategy, drive excellence across the institution, ensure robust preparation for REF2029, and maximise the impact of our research and innovation through strong partnerships and an evidence-informed approach.

This is an exciting time to join the University as we deliver our Strategic Plan 2030. Launched in 2024, the Plan sets out our shared vision to make a positive impact on people’s lives and to be a force for good in the world.
