About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the University of Staffordshire's dedicated Cleaning Team, working within the busy Student Hub. The Hub is at the heart of campus life, providing a welcoming space for students to study and access support services. We look for enthusiastic and reliable individuals who take pride in their work and help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the Student Hub and associated communal areas
- Ensure facilities are clean, safe and welcoming for students, staff and visitors
- Carry out a range of cleaning duties to support the day‑to‑day operation of the building
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent cleaning service
- Take pride in helping create a positive environment for everyone who uses the Hub
Working Patterns
Full‑Time Positions
- 37 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Shift patterns:
- 6:00 am – 2:00 pm, or
- 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm
- Flexibility required to work both shift patterns
Part‑Time Positions
- 15 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Shift patterns:
- 6:00 am – 9:00 am, or
- 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
- Flexibility required to work both shift patterns
About You
- Positive and proactive approach to work

- Take pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness
- Reliable, motivated and well‑organised
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Previous cleaning experience desirable but not essential – full training will be provided
