This is a Library Resource Assistant role within the Resources and Library Systems Team at the University. The team provides technical and admin support for library systems and ensures high-quality access to library resources for students and staff.
Location: Stoke Campus
Salary: £24,900 to £27,644 Per Annum Permanent Full time
Main Responsibilities:
- As part of a collaborative team, support preparation, access and maintenance of digital and print library learning resources and the physical Library spaces at the University.
- Library Learning Spaces and Systems support: Contribute to the daily operations of library learning spaces and systems, ensuring timely access to required resources for all users.
- Reading Lists: Follow appropriate processes for reading lists, acquisitions and digitisation ensuring accurate support for Learning and Teaching.
- Inclusivity and Accessibility: Ensure that all library services are accessible to a diverse user base and operational processes reflect this.
- Promotion and Marketing: Support communications, publicity and marketing to promote library resources and services.
- Administration of Library Collections: Assist in the administration of library collections, including license agreements, and stock management to ensure compliance and optimal resource usage.
