Campus Security Officer (Part‑Time, Nights)

Location: Stoke Campus

Salary: £24,900 to £27,644 per annum pro‑rata; permanent part‑time, 18.5 hours

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to students, colleagues and visitors, ensuring everyone feels respected and supported.
  • Supporting university events as required throughout the year.
  • Participating in ongoing training and development, including opportunities to build skills relevant to the role and wider university operations.
  • Responding to first aid incidents, fire alarms and panic alarms, ensuring calm, safe and timely action.
  • Using digital systems confidently, including CCTV, access control, fire systems and incident‑reporting tools.

Working Pattern:

Night shifts on a 2 on / 6 off rotation. Shifts are typically 10–12 hours.

Right to Work:

This role does not meet the criteria for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship.
