Overview

We are looking to recruit to a number of Level 3-qualified Early Years Educator posts and would be happy to discuss full and part-time positions for the right candidate. The University of Staffordshire has its own Woodlands Day Nursery and Forest School worth over £4 million. The nursery is located on our Leek Road Campus and is set by our University Nature Reserve, adjacent to woodlands, with excellent local transport links and on-site parking. The facilities are a sustainable place of early years learning with connections to the landscape and nature reserve, providing outdoor learning opportunities such as identifying nature, play-based learning, den building and forest art.

We are looking to recruit to a number of Level 3-qualified Early Years Educator posts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality early years education and care for children in a Nursery and Forest School setting.
  • Support outdoor learning and nature-based activities in line with the facility and curriculum.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
