About The Role

We are seeking a proactive and organised Business Support Assistant to join our Business to Markets team, based primarily at our Stoke Campus. In this key operational and administrative role, you will support business engagement and income-generating activities, including apprenticeships. You will act as a first point of contact for employers and stakeholders, managing inboxes, qualifying leads, maintaining accurate records and liaising effectively with internal and external partners. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, customer-focused and confident working with data and multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the onboarding and application process for apprenticeships starts generated by the team
  • Support the Business Prospect Development Managers and team with data and management information to inform reporting
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and partners in order to further develop our business engagement activities
  • Undertake data entry, enquiries management, including the employer inbox, acting as a first point of contact, and qualifying leads for the business development team
