  • You will contribute to curriculum development, teaching, assessment, student support and undergraduate recruitment.
  • Support the programme leader with course administration and management.
  • Contribute to our social media and public-facing journalism activity.
  • Help develop relationships with industry partners, sports clubs, alumni and other organisations. These relationships are central to providing meaningful work experience, authentic professional briefs and opportunities for students to build their networks.

Our practical broadcast teaching is based at The Workshop, in the site of the former BBC radio and television studios in the heart of Plymouth, next door to the current Broadcasting House. The facilities include a radio studio, podcast suites and a versatile television studio. Working with these facilities and our industry contacts, you will help students develop professional portfolios, collaborative production skills and the confidence to pursue careers across journalism, sports media, broadcasting, digital content and communications.
