Campus Maintenance Operative
1 FTE / 35 Hours per week (Job Share will be considered at 2 x 0.5 FTE)
Grade 4, Β£24,685 - Β£26,093
We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join us in the position of Campus Maintenance Operative at Plymouth Marjon University. We are looking for a customer focused team member who can work alone, or in a team. You will be responsible for carrying out assigned maintenance tasks on campus and will be an integral part of a dedicated team that takes enormous pride in what they do.
Marjon is a fantastic place to work along with a good working environment and the opportunity to gain new skills. Flexibility is essential; core working hours are between 8am-4pm, but you will need to be able to work flexibly around these hours.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience in minor maintenance and repairs to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, building fabric, painting & decorating systems.
- Have experience carrying out reactive & planned maintenance tasks.
- Have experience carrying out inspections, cleaning and maintenance (internally and externally).
- Be able to move furniture/rearrange room setups.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
Where you'll work:
You will be based in the Campus & Commercial team, on our green campus in the north of Plymouth. In order to be successful in this role, you will be required to work on site.
