The Recruitment Team at the University of St Andrews is seeking a motivated and ambitious Recruitment Administrator to join us during an exciting period of transformation and development across our HR services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong organisational skills, and is keen to develop a career within Talent Acquisition or Human Resources.
Working as part of a collaborative and supportive team, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding recruitment experience for candidates and hiring managers at one of the world’s leading universities. Managing a diverse range of vacancies across both Professional Services and Academic Schools, you will help ensure the University continues to attract exceptional talent from around the globe. In addition to driving recruitment activity forward, you will provide advice and support to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
As part of the University’s ongoing HROSDS Enhancement project, you will have the opportunity to develop new skills, contribute to service improvements, and help shape a modern, inclusive, and high-performing recruitment service. This will include supporting candidate selection processes, providing guidance on recruitment systems, and contributing to future developments within the service.
What you will be doing:
- Supporting end-to-end recruitment activity across a wide range of vacancies
- Acting as a key point of contact for candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle
- Providing high-quality advice and support on recruitment processes and systems
- Coordinating interviews, recruitment documentation, and communications
- Ensuring excellent attention to detail and accuracy across all recruitment activity
- Supporting continuous improvement and modernisation projects within Recruitment and HR
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider HR function
