The Careers Centre is seeking a part-time careers adviser to work in our creative and proactive team. We educate, inspire, and empower our students and graduates to equip them with lifelong career management and enterprise skills to create meaningful and fulfilling careers, whatever their ambitions.

Our careers advisers offer education, training, advice, and guidance to help our students and graduates explore what makes them curious, focus their plans and interests, and feel empowered to realise their career ambitions. Partnership working with our local and global stakeholders is at the heart of what we do, and we work closely with a range of partners including academic schools, professional service units, alumni, employers, and student societies.

You will be educated to degree level and have, or be working towards, a professional qualification in career guidance. You will have experience of working in career guidance or a related setting, and/or experience of working in a university or graduate recruitment, as well as excellent interpersonal skills, a commitment to evidence-informed practice and a passion for high-quality service delivery.
