We are looking to appoint self-motivated and customer-focused individuals to this key frontline team in the University Library. You will be motivated, have excellent customer skills and will relish the challenges of working in a very active student environment. Team working abilities, good communication skills, flexibility and IT skills are requirements for this post. You should be educated to at least Scottish Higher level. Previous experience of working in a library or a customer service role is essential.

Hours of work: Saturday and Sunday, 18 hours per week,

Typical shifts (on rotation): 07.30-17.30; 08.00-18.00; 14.30-00.30. These hours are subject to change.

In addition to the basic salary, a Premium Hours Payment of an additional 1/3 rd time is paid for hours worked between 10pm and 6am where those hours are not subject to any other overtime rate.
