The Student Hub is the University of Southampton’s front-line student support service and the first point of contact for students throughout their university journey. We provide information, advice, and guidance on a wide range of student matters, taking ownership of enquiries and delivering accurate, timely, and consistent support through face‑to‑face, telephone, and digital channels. Operating across multiple campus locations, the Student Hub supports key student processes from enrolment through to graduation. Our goal is to make it easy for students to access the help they need, enabling them to focus on their studies and make the most of their university experience.
About The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Student Hub Team Leader to support the day-to-day delivery of a high-quality, student‑centred service. This is a full-time, permanent position working a shift pattern of 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday to Friday. The role is campus-based and requires travel between Student Hub locations in Southampton and Winchester School of Art.
About You
You will be an experienced leader with a passion for delivering excellent customer service and enhancing the student experience. You will have the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high‑performing team in a busy, customer‑focused environment. You will be a confident communicator who can build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and work collaboratively to improve services and achieve positive outcomes.
