The University of Southampton invites applications for a Research Fellow to join an HFSP-funded project examining how sensory receptor and ion channel systems evolved in early animals, with emphasis on TRP channels from non-bilaterian organisms.
You will apply molecular cloning, heterologous expression and pharmacological assays to characterise candidate receptors, express proteins in mammalian cells, and perform medium- to high-throughput screening to derive pharmacological profiles.
