The Faculty of Medicine at the University of Southampton, supported by University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust, wishes to appoint an NIHR Clinical Lecturer in General Practice.
The successful candidate will develop research and teaching within the Faculty of Medicine and will work in the NIHR research theme “Primary care and community care”. The post is a post‑doctoral appointment in General Practice.
Eligibility and Experience
The applicant must hold or have submitted for a higher research degree and have appropriate research experience. Evidence of completion of Training in Primary Care and substantial experience of the relevant research areas is required, together with a proven track record of high‑quality original research publications. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to work well in a multidisciplinary, multi‑professional team.
Clinical Commitments
The clinical commitments will be as a salaried or self‑employed GP at a local primary care practice.
