Overview

As a Foundry Operation & Logistics Technician, you will support the CORNERSTONE nanofabrication team by operating standardized qualification tests on the cleanroom tools, preparing chemicals and processes, managing consumable stock, and packaging and shipping Silicon Photonics devices to C‑PIC users and research partners.

Responsibilities

  • Operate qualification tests on cleanroom tools.
  • Prepare chemicals and processes within the world‑class cleanroom facility.
  • Manage consumable stock for the nanofabrication team.
  • Package and transfer state‑of‑the‑art Silicon Photonics devices out of the cleanroom and ship them to external users and internal partners.
  • Record data accurately and maintain detailed logs of all operations.
  • Support the delivery team by ensuring timely and safe shipment of devices.
  • Learn from leading researchers and contribute to the research mission of C‑PIC.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a laboratory environment with proven ability to plan and progress work activities.
  • Experience in administration and managing related tasks.
  • A degree in a science‑related subject or equivalent industry experience.
