Salary: AMNL £44,159 to £76,280 (for those below ST3 on 3 August 2016); CADT £61,825 to £70,425 (for those at or above ST3 on 3 August 2016).
Post duration: up to 4 years (full-time) or up to 6 years (part-time).
The Faculty of Medicine, supported by University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking to appoint an NIHR Clinical Lecturer in Anaesthetics or Medical Oncology.
You will develop your research and teaching within the Faculty of Medicine, University of Southampton, and have clinical commitments at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust, leading to further clinical skills required for specialist training and full registration within the specialty.
Applicants should have a higher research degree (or be submitting one), appropriate research experience, and a proven track record of high-quality research publications.
The successful candidate will be at least ST3 level with substantial research experience in relevant areas, able to work well in multidisciplinary teams, and hold or be eligible for a relevant NTN.
The position is subject to terms and conditions set by the University of Southampton and the University Hospital Southampton Foundation Trust.
