Overview

We\’re looking for a thoughtful and proactive Business Analyst to join our Business & Systems Analysis team within iSolutions. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a team known across the University for its commitment to partnership working, inclusive engagement, and continuous improvement.
As part of the iSolutions IT Portfolio, you\’ll help shape and deliver change across Education, Research, and Professional Services. You\’ll work closely with stakeholders and colleagues, including Project and Change Managers to understand business needs, analyse current and future states, and co-create solutions that deliver real value. This role is based at 1 Guildhall Square in central Southampton, with travel to other University campuses in Hampshire as needed. We support flexible and hybrid working, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office during your first month, reducing to 1 day per week thereafter.

- Capture and map current and future processes, define clear requirements and acceptance criteria, and contribute to evidence-based business cases.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and work as part of a supportive, cross-functional team.
Qualifications
- Confidence in leading Business Analysis engagements with project teams and senior stakeholders
- Experience using recognised business analysis tools and techniques.
- Curiosity and a willingness to explore how things work and how they could work better.
- A collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
