A Fellowship Designed to Accelerate Global Impact
This new initiative is designed to attract world-leading researchers from outside the UK who are ready to make a transformative contribution to the UK’s research and innovation (R&I) ecosystem. This is a unique opportunity to establish or expand your research programme in the UK, collaborate with world-class researchers, and contribute to national and global priorities.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking internationally-recognised research leaders who:

  • Have an excellent track record of research excellence and leadership
  • Are committed to advancing the UK’s R&I system
  • Are currently based outside the UK and must not have been UK residents for the last 24 months
  • Are ready to relocate and build a long-term research presence in the UK

Research Areas of Strategic Interest

  • Clean Technologies: Net zero innovation, sustainable energy, circular economy
  • Life Sciences: Genomics, precision medicine, bioengineering, and health data science
