Research Contracts Officer

About the role
You will join the Research Contracts team as a full‑time, permanent Contracts Officer. Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, negotiating research agreements and supporting academic staff through the contract pre‑award process.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate a portfolio of research contracts.
- Advisory support to academic staff and external partners.
- Ensure appropriate research agreements are in place.
- Maintain efficient systems and customer service focus.
Qualifications
- Degree level or equivalent, excellent communication skills.
- Strong organisational and multi‑tasking ability.
- Self‑starter, thrive in fast‑moving environment.
- Previous customer‑focussed office experience mandatory.
- Experience in higher education research support and drafting research agreements advantageous.
