The Faculty of Business and Creative Industries is one of three faculties at the University of South Wales, spread across 3 campuses in Newport, Treforest and Cardiff. Our Creative Industries courses are based in Atrium, a purpose-built facility in Central Cardiff where over 2,500 students study a wide variety of creative courses from Fashion to Games, Music, Photography and Film.
Based mainly at the Cardiff campus, this role will provide you with an opportunity to utilise a range of technical skills to support our courses and our students.
Responsibilities:- Provide technical support across Photography, Sound, Film and Lighting disciplines and related resources, including Photography Studios, Photography Infinity Cove, and Photography print/scanning facilities.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork, IT and customer service skills to support students and staff.
- Be flexible and willing to learn new equipment and adapt to changing requirements.
- Work part time (24 hours per week, 0.64 FTE) on a fixed-term basis for 2 years, with activity on campus and on location where appropriate.
