Overview
The Reaching Wider Team at the University of South Wales is seeking to appoint an Administrator to support the partnership. The post holder will provide effective and efficient administrative support for the Reaching Wider partnership, contributing to the success of the team and its associated projects. This is a part-time post based in Pontypridd, with some home working. The post-holder may be required to work across campuses and partnership HEIs when required, and may be required to work weekends and evenings on occasions.
Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support for the team, including event support, processing bookings, managing diaries, servicing meetings, data entry and finance.
- Deal with a wide range of queries from key widening access groups; provide excellent people skills in handling these interactions.
- Support the duties, responsibilities and person specification as part of the application process and contribute to successful partnership delivery.

Reaching Wider is a HEFCW funded partnership programme which exists to widen access to higher education by tackling barriers to entry, progression and success in higher education. We achieve this through offering a suite of long-term interventions that support attainment raising, provide information, advice and guidance and assist progression to higher education and level 4 learning for targeted priority groups.
