Overview
An attractive, full‑time, permanent Lecturer in Law role at the Pontypridd campus of the University of South Wales Law School. The position involves teaching, assessment and supporting students through our award‑winning Legal Advice Clinic.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality teaching and assessment for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
- Support students in the Legal Advice Clinic, facilitating hands‑on clinical legal education.
- Contribute to curriculum development and adopt innovative teaching methods.
- Participate in departmental meetings, professional development and research activities.
Qualifications
- Academic qualification at PhD level or professional experience in law (solicitor, barrister, CILEX) with a genuine desire to make a difference to students.
- Strong interest in one or more of the following areas of law:
- Law & Technology (including Cyber Law and Artificial Intelligence & the Law)
- Equality and Human Rights
- Intellectual Property Law (including Trade Marks, Patents and Copyright)
- International Business and Commercial Law (including Competition and Sale of Goods)
- Experience in teaching or learning at university level is desirable.
