The University of South Wales seeks a Data Protection Officer to join the University Secretary’s Office as part of the University’s compliance team. Based at Pontypridd, the main purpose of the role is to manage risk and legal compliance associated with the University’s data protection and freedom of information obligations and to act as the institution’s subject matter expert regarding data protection matters.

We are looking for an ambitious and highly motivated individual with the professional qualities, expert knowledge and experience to fulfil the UK GDPR requirements for a Data Protection Officer. This is a full time, permanent post.
