The National Conservatoire of Wales is looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to provide design, supervision and delivery of teaching and assessment in dance across a range of modules in the Musical Theatre department, contributing to the currency and world‑leading position of the college curriculum.

The post‑holder will have a proven and verifiable record of work as a dance teacher with working knowledge of a range of dance disciplines and will be able to work with performers for a range of professional musical theatre contexts in both a professional and drama training setting. They will need to be strong advocates of conservatoire education and be ready to work collaboratively with all RWCMD colleagues and professional partners to enable and promote an institutional reputation for pioneering, immersive professional education in Music and Drama.

The Musical Theatre department comprises the fast‑developing, flagship undergraduate BA (Hons) programme in Musical Theatre, as well as a one‑year postgraduate MA programme. Over the last fifteen years, the department has quickly developed into an acknowledged leading UK provider of comprehensive Musical Theatre training.

Based in Cardiff, RWCMD are seeking an energetic, experienced individual of the highest calibre, to make a major contribution to the future of the College.
