Join our Doctoral College and play a critical role in delivering the university’s strategy and enhancing the profile of our doctoral research and training partnerships. As a Communications and Marketing Manager, you’ll be working on a range of initiatives to recruit students to Postgraduate Research (PGR) programmes and promote our impactful research.
About the role
You will lead the development and implementation of a marketing and communications strategy aimed at recruiting students to PGR programmes and enhancing the profile of Doctoral Training partnerships and doctoral research at the University. You will create engaging content for various channels, organise strategic events and build relationships with key stakeholders.
This role is full-time, fixed term for two years initially.
The role is hybrid with a mix of working from home and on campus. Expectations are that 5 out of every 10 working days will be on campus.
About you
You’ll bring experience of planning and implementing marketing operations and the ability to do so in a large and complex organisation. Your skills in developing plans based on data and insight will underpin your creativity in designing innovative solutions. Adept at relationship building, you’ll be able to work proactively with academic and professional services stakeholders and across a network of internal and external teams to effectively deliver communications and marketing plans.
