An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading team of researchers focusing on placing the patient at the centre of oral rehabilitation. Join the transforming oral health research group at the faculty of health at the University of Sheffield as a research associate on this groundbreaking interdisciplinary project led by Prof Barry Gibson and Prof Nicholas Martin.
In this role you will work across the range of social and psychological sciences in the applied field of oral rehabilitation. You will undertake groundbreaking mixed methods research examining the social and psychological aspects of living with removable dentures. You will join a world leading team collecting longitudinal quantitative and qualitative data into the quality-of-life of people living with removable dentures.
Your work will engage in groundbreaking mixed methods research involving longitudinal study designs, embedded qualitative research and data analysis. Your work will contribute to the development of new patient pathways and support for people who experience oral health-related inequalities, losing teeth and having them replaced with removable dentures.
We are looking for someone with experience in longitudinal quantitative studies, specifically reliability, validity, effect size and standardised response to the mean analysis. Understanding the principles of factorial surveys and mixed methods research would be a significant advantage.
