We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated professional to join the central Safeguarding and Welfare team as a Safeguarding and Welfare Officer. The Safeguarding and Welfare Officer will play an important role in the delivery of key services in the team as directed.
Responsibilities
- Support both Safeguarding and Welfare Managers and the Section Lead in managing processes within the team.
- Support the team Administrator in triaging cases and information received, liaising with students and staff to signpost key services and processes.
- Help manage safeguarding and welfare cases and provide support for Risk Assessment panel meetings.
- Play a key role in ensuring that the Team delivers an excellent service to students, supporting them through their journey at University, whatever their circumstances.
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively prioritise workload and undertake dynamic risk assessments in a fast paced environment.
