Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated professional with proven experience in developing and implementing successful international recruitment strategies. You should possess strong relationship management skills and experience engaging with internal and external stakeholders. You will also drive outcomes that align with the universitys targets, ensuring the success of international recruitment initiatives. This role will be targeting recruitment and engagement efforts mainly in South Asia and the Middle East and will involve international travel on occasions.
Please note, the successful candidate will be required to work flexible hours (including evenings and occasional weekend commitments).

So what will the role involve?
As a member of the international recruitment team, you will be responsible for managing and executing projects that support the Universitys goal of attracting international applicants and increasing registrations. Your role will involve building and maintaining relationships with international stakeholders to drive student enrolment and help prospective students make informed decisions.
Key responsibilities also include representing the University at events in target countries, both in-person and online, working closely with education agents and partner universities, and helping organise large-scale recruitment events, such as virtual open days, along with a variety of other activities for prospective students interested in studying at the University of Salford.
A bit about International and Regional Development
The International and Regional Development Directorate is fundamental to the delivery of the Universitys internationalisation strategy and ICZ (Industry Collaboration Zones) agenda. The Directorate includes Degree Apprenticeships, UK and International Partnerships, the International Office, Salford Languages, Enterprise and the ICZ support team.
The International Office is an integrated professional services unit with expert teams dedicated to the successful delivery of the Universitys internationalisation agenda. The International Office supports the Academic Schools in a wide range of global engagement activities, including international recruitment for on-campus and off-campus students, managing overseas representatives and partners, working with services across the University to support the international student journey, from enquiry and application to enrolment, as well as supporting international opportunities for students and staff across the University.
