We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Strategy and Data team and help deliver high-quality insight that supports decision-making across the University. Key Responsibilities
- Produce regular and ad hoc reports using institutional data to support decision-making across the University.
- Analyse data to identify trends, patterns and areas for improvement, translating findings into clear and accessible insights.

- Assist with data preparation, validation and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting.

In the Strategy Directorate, we play a central role in supporting the University of Salford's strategic ambitions through evidence-based decision-making, planning and performance management. Our Directorate’s responsibilities include the University's strategic and operational reporting, providing insight that informs decision-making at all levels of the institution, as well as strategic planning, policy analysis, corporate risk management and statutory returns. The analytics team delivers data, reporting and insight to support planning, performance monitoring and continuous improvement. We are committed to developing modern analytics approaches, improving access to high-quality management information and helping colleagues use data effectively to drive positive outcomes for students and the wider University community.
