Join us as a Chair in Circular Economy at the University of Salford and be part of one of the UK’s fastest growing universities! Salford Business School is looking for a Chair in Circular Economy to join our growing community to lead and effect real-world change through academic excellence and interdisciplinary research leadership. Reporting directly to the PVC Dean, the Chair in Circular Economy represents one of several positions aimed at building a powerful interdisciplinary research team of developing market and organisation studies, entrepreneurship, information systems and supply chain management scholars.

Key responsibilities
  • Make a significant contribution to the University’s returns to national research assessment exercises (REF)
  • Play a lead role in development of an innovative and dynamic academic environment bringing tangible benefits and impacts for other groups and organisations outside the higher education sector
  • Develop and disseminate collaborative research and outputs of international standing in your discipline, and across disciplines collaborating on the circular economy/sustainable business futures research programmes
  • Develop and lead research/commercial projects and collaborative partnerships with other higher education institutions and organizations in the UK and internationally.
