The Lecturer role represents an important position at a time of growth for Salford Business School. Our research is transforming how we teach. We are equipping our students with critical transferable skills, developed using cutting-edge digital learning and carbon literacy tools, mobilised in active-blended-learning pedagogies, designed to position our students as future leaders and collaborators of choice. Our Centre for Sustainable Innovation (CSI) catalyses knowledge exchange and collaborative research initiatives between scholars, policymakers, and industry, empowering sustainable business transformations and positioning SBS in the top 5 for small and medium size enterprise (SMEs) engagement (HESA ranking 2024).
The opportunity: Salford Business School is looking for a Lecturer to join our growing community and contribute to the delivery of our exciting marketing programmes, research, education, and knowledge exchange agendas. Reporting directly to the Subject Group Head, you will be engaged with teaching and learning across a range of modules and programmes, both at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level, alongside scholarship and research activity. This is an exciting time to join the University, as we continue to grow and leverage our collaborative expertise to enrich the lives of our students, stakeholders, and local community.
Key responsibilities:
- Delivery of outstanding teaching and learning opportunities to a diverse student community.
- Be proactive in motivating and supporting students applying your knowledge of individual learning styles and developmental needs.
- Manage quality procedures within an HE environment at programme and module level.
- Contribute to research and knowledge exchange activities.
- Communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders across the University and beyond to foster teamwork and collaboration.
