We are looking for a passionate and committed team player to join our Building Surveying team as a Lecturer in Sustainable Construction teaching on our professionally accredited undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Reporting to the Head of Property and Surveying, you will teach and lead modules on sustainable construction and construction technology, supervise student research projects, and motivate students to reach their academic potential. You will have the opportunity to undertake individual or collaborative research, and develop your career in a supportive, innovative and diverse environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate ability to design and deliver engaging teaching and learning activities, and supervise research projects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of current and emerging developments in sustainable construction and construction technology.
  • Have experience in the teaching or practice of sustainable construction.
  • Motivate, coach and support students with a range of individual learning styles and development needs.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal and team-working skills.
