About the Team Working closely with colleagues in Student and Academic Support, the Admissions Team is responsible for managing relations with applicants, and for providing expert support and advice for UK, EU and International applicants across UG, PG and other student categories (including part-time, modular, partnerships and distance-learning). The admissions process spans managing enquiries and applications through to registration. The Admissions Team works closely with colleagues in Schools to facilitate the achievement of recruitment targets. The team is responsible for the constant refinement and improvement of business processes and supporting systems to ensure the most effective admission of new students (including various data entry and other interactions with the Universitys student systems) and the best possible applicant experience. This team is responsible for ensuring all processes and systems are compliant with regulatory bodies including UCAS and the UKVI. The Role We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Admissions Manager, with a background in higher education to join our Central Admissions Team. Reporting to the Deputy Head of Admissions, you will be responsible for the direct line management of a team of Admissions Supervisors, and indirect management of wider team responsible for making decisions on undergraduate or postgraduate applications for a designated academic area. The post holder will be an experienced manager, maintaining excellent working relationships with colleagues in academic areas, and with a strong focus on customer service across a wide range of stakeholders. You will be responsible for supporting a plan of continuous improvement and excellent delivery of the service.
