The University of Salford has an exciting new opportunity available for a Simulation and Skills Tutor in Nursing! This is an exciting position in which you, as a member of our vibrant simulation and skills team, will play a key role in the creative design and delivery of nursing simulation and skills. The ideal candidate will be registered as an Adult Nurse with the NMC and passionate about delivering excellent student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing skills, knowledge, attitudes and behaviours of nursing students through simulation and skills teaching.
  • Design, develop, deliver and evaluate evidence‑based teaching material and resources across a range of modules, and programmes of study.
  • Contribute to the planning, design and development of course and curriculum objectives and material, ensuring the professional, educational and clinical credibility of simulated practice components.
  • Supervise, mark and assess coursework and examinations, providing feedback to nursing students as part of a module team.
  • Fulfil the role of personal tutor and academic assessor to a group of nursing students.
