We are looking for an innovative and forward-thinking Marketing Technology Manager to lead the development and delivery of our marketing technology (MarTech) strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to shape how technology, data and digital innovation drive marketing performance within a complex and purpose-led organisation. You will play a central role in enabling smarter, more personalised engagement with prospective students and stakeholders.
About the role
Reporting to the Deputy Marketing, Brand and Digital, you will define and deliver a MarTech roadmap that underpins our marketing strategy—enhancing lead generation, improving conversion and transforming the applicant experience. Working across Marketing, Web, Insight, IT and Student Recruitment teams, you will act as the organisation’s subject matter expert on marketing technology—identifying, implementing and optimising tools and platforms that support integrated, insight-led campaigns. This is a hands-on role where you will balance strategic thinking with practical delivery, working within a focused budget to maximise impact and efficiency.
You will:
- Develop and own the MarTech roadmap, identifying tools and platforms to support automation, analytics, social listening and AI-driven optimisation
- Act as a specialist in emerging technologies (including generative AI and marketing automation), ensuring we stay ahead of digital trends
- Lead the evaluation, selection and integration of marketing technologies in collaboration with IT, data and procurement teams
- Implement systems that support student recruitment marketing and enhance the end-to-end user journey
- Establish best practice and deliver training to enable teams to fully utilise marketing technologies
- Work with insight and web teams to develop dashboards, reporting and performance monitoring tools
- Manage licences, suppliers and compliance requirements
