The Role: We are recruiting a Level 8 Research Project Manager to join Professor Bryony Hoskins' academic research group on Education, Inequalities and Democracy. This is an exciting time to join the team as we are playing a key role in supporting and empowering young people internationally through our research and impact.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Manage an international education project, taking responsibility for successful completion of deliverables by sub-contractors as well as Roehampton University on time and on budget.
- Work closely with the Project Sponsor, Sub-project team and key stakeholders.
- Actively participate in all phases of a project, including scoping and design, identifying and securing resources, ethics, resolving issues, managing risk and reporting progress.
- Effectively estimate timescales, resources, ethics and budget requirements for the successful delivery of projects.
The successful candidate will have skills and experience in:
- Speaking Arabic and French
- Proven project management experience
- Proven ability to problem solve, and identify and implement creative solutions
- Strong organisation and time management skills including the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to liaise and network effectively with a range of stakeholders including senior staff and external agencies on behalf of the University
