To provide efficient, effective, accurate and responsive administrative support for enrolment and student records activities within the Registry, delivering high levels of customer service to students, staff and external stakeholders. The Registry Administrator (Enrolment and Student Records) will support the operational delivery of student registration and enrolment processes, maintain the accuracy of the student record, and respond to enquiries relating to student records and enrolment. The role requires a flexible approach to supporting Registry activities, particularly during peak operational periods.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • To support the operational delivery of student registration and enrolment processes, including assisting with in-person enrolment activities during peak registration periods, which may require attendance on campus each day during these periods.
  • To maintain electronic student records relating to student registration, assessment and awards ensuring data is entered and updated accurately and completely in accordance with established procedures, and to file and archive paper student records as required.
  • To respond to enquiries from staff and students regarding enrolment processes and student records, providing accurate guidance and referring complex issues where appropriate.
  • To support the set-up and maintenance of programme, module and student data within the student records system, including module allocation and bulk record transfers where required.
  • To produce routine data integrity reports and correct identified errors in accordance with established procedures.
  • To check the accuracy of data imported into the student records system and report any discrepancies in accordance with established procedures.
  • To work in close collaboration with Academic Schools / Faculties, and other relevant departments to support the accuracy and completeness of the student record.
  • To provide administrative support to the Exams and Assessment function and other Registry activities during peak operational periods where required, which may include assisting with examination and assessment administration and invigilation, in order to maintain continuity of service delivery.
  • To gather and provide information or data as requested by the Senior Registry Officer (Enrolment and Student Records) and/or Deputy Academic Registrar to support operational activities and reporting.
  • To undertake any other requirements commensurate with the seniority of the post, as required by the Deputy Academic Registrar or Registrar.
