The University of Roehampton is recruiting for the role of Digital Education Coordinator to join our Digital Education team as maternity cover from July 2026. This role will allow the right candidate to gain in depth experience of learning technologies such as Moodle, Panopto, and TurnItIn, and our approaches for technology enhanced learning. This role is ideal for someone who can learn new software tools or processes quickly, understanding them in depth to be able to investigate issues that may arise.
The successful candidate will support staff and students through any queries they may have and using a variety of channels. They will need to be able to prioritise effectively and maintain good communication with the rest of the Digital Education department and key stakeholders both internally at the University and externally at system vendors.
Responsibilities- Manage the Helpdesk, investigating, resolving, and communicating issues that arise.
- Create and share regular reports.
- Work with the wider team to conduct testing and feedback of new or upgraded systems.
The successful candidate will have great attention to detail and a proactive approach, alongside skills and experience using different software tools, understanding the end‑user experience, and delivering excellent customer care.

BenefitsGrade: RU 6
Salary: £37,186 to £40,820 pa inclusive of London Weighting Allowance. Professional Services/Support staff up to Grade RU6 have access to the Local Government Pension Scheme; and on RU7 and above, have access to the University’s Retirement Savings Group Pension Plan, a defined contribution scheme, provided by Royal London.
