Overview
The University of Roehampton is recruiting to the role of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Nutrition and Dietetics to join our thriving School of Life and Health Sciences. This is an exciting time to join the team and play a key role in the expansion of our nutrition and dietetics provision.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, delivery, and integration of innovative, research-informed teaching and practical training in nutrition and dietetics across our programme portfolio.
- Take a professional lead in ensuring compliance with university and PSRB regulations; contribute to the design, delivery, and review of modules and curricula in nutrition and dietetics.
- Collaborate with an enthusiastic multi-disciplinary team within the School and with external partners to deliver outstanding dietetics and nutrition education.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive community for all.
- Apply nutrition to a range of contexts such as sport and exercise to provide a rounded educational offer to our breadth of students in the School (desirable).
Qualifications and experience
- Experience in higher education and/or clinical nutrition practice with an established research and/or professional profile as a registered nutritionist.
- A commitment to high-quality teaching and professional training; ability to develop inspiring, future-focused curricula.
- Interest in contributing to accreditation processes and professional training for dietetics.
