The University of Roehampton is seeking a dedicated Independent End-Point Youth Work Assessor for an on-site and remote role. The role involves assessing and grading learners’ work against established standards, providing constructive feedback to support professional development, and maintaining accurate records of assessments. The assessor will communicate with candidates and employers to ensure guidelines and expectations are understood, as well as collaborate with team members to uphold quality and consistency in assessments.

Qualifications

  • JNC Level 6 or 7 Qualified Youth Worker
  • Strong understanding of assessment methodologies, youth work principles, and relevant educational standards
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organizational ability to manage schedules, maintain records, and meet deadlines efficiently
  • Relevant educational background or certifications in youth work or community development
