General Summary

Rochester is recruiting for a 3-month summer intern to design and develop Applications within the Qlik Sense Business Analytics platform.

These Applications will be used by Rochester’s Product & Technology Team to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations and analytics.

Rochester is flexible to start and end dates.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the requirement for each Application based on user stories and dialog with users.
  • Design, develop, and debug custom Applications using the Qlik Sense Business Analytics platform writing ETL scripts to transform and load data.
  • Fully document ETL scripts for future maintenance and development.
  • Explore Qlik Automation features and demonstrate to stakeholders how these could be used to further improve the efficiency of the business operations.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field.
  • Able to synthesize user input into a clear set of requirements – demonstratable through interview.
  • Able to quickly start developing basic Applications in the Qlik environment – demonstratable through interview prework.
