Highland Hospital is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead multiple outpatient departments including Geriatrics and Medicine Associates (GAMA), Pulmonary, Audiology, Diabetes Health Source, and Geriatrics. The Sr. Director, with minimum direction and considerable latitude for independent judgment, oversees the administrative and business operations of multiple outpatient departments within the Department of Medicine.
The Sr. Practice Manager works collaboratively with members of the leadership team within the Department of Medicine, with providers and clinical and clerical office personnel, to promote the achievement of goals and objectives that meet and continuously improve operations. Provides leadership and guidance to office personnel and administrative direction to clinical staff. Is responsible for training and evaluating office personnel and the administrative functions of all staff. Has direct oversight of billing operations. Coordinates services and equipment necessary to enhance day-to-day clinic operations. Trains and educates staff on daily functions of the system computer programs for all staff. Monitors and reports monthly budget variances to the Sr. Director and provides capital and operating budget input for purposes of annual budget development.
Salary Range: $55,681.60 - $72,384 annually
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree; or equivalent experience
- Experience: 4-6 years relevant experience in a physician practice setting involving oversight of clerical, administrative and billing processes.
- Skills: Able to demonstrate high level leadership, critical thinking, and interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Proficient with Flowcast, eRecord, scanning, and Outlook.
