Overview
Position Summary: The Practice Manager of the Divisions of Bariatrics & General Surgery and Colorectal Surgery & GI at Highland Hospital oversees the operational components of their primary office location and provides regular mentorship and consultation to ensure compliance with relevant Highland Hospital and URMC ambulatory policies and operational standards. Performs routine and non-routine duties requiring highly advanced administrative skills and proficiency with minimum direction and considerable latitude for independent judgment. The Practice Manager works collaboratively with Department, Division, and Hospital leadership to ensure alignment of goals, operational policies, functions (i.e. access, scheduling, billing, etc.) and objectives that meet and continuously improve operations and promote provider efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Salary Range: $25.00 - $34.00 an hour. The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Qualifications/Experience
- Education: Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s Degree preferred); or equivalent experience
- Experience: 1-3 years relevant experience in a physician practice setting involving oversight of clerical, administrative and billing processes.
- Skills: Able to demonstrate high level leadership, critical thinking, and interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Proficient with Flowcast, eRecord, scanning and Outlook.
