Provides professional nursing services for patients and their families and/or for the nursing department. Level II Registered Nurse (RN):
The Level II RN, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, is accountable for provision of competent patient care based on established standards and the nursing process. The Level II Registered Nurse may assume expanded unit roles as available and assigned by Nurse Manager as a charge nurse or preceptor. The Level II nurse supports peers in the delivery of patient care, uses appropriate team communication methods, and practices care that reflects the patient condition and priorities. The Level II nurse provides support to team problem solving. The Level II nurse identifies opportunities for self-growth and contributes to the development of other learners. The Level II nurse contributes to safe unit environment and operations.
Pay Range: $38.76 - $50.33
Job Requirements:
- Minimum six months RN experience.
- Experience in NICU or Special Care Nursery required.
- BS in Nursing preferred.
- Licensed by New York State to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- Current CPR certification (American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare providers).
Location: Rochester, Full-Time, 36 hours per week.
